Assassination Classroom Test

The Assassination Classroom Test is inspired by psychometric methodology and based on research into the characters of the anime series. The test provides feedback such as the following:

Koro-sensei

Koro-sensei is an exuberant trickster-mentor who hides a tragic past behind a permanent, color-changing smile. Driven by a promise to nurture rather than dominate, he turns past failures into guidance, proving that even overwhelming power can be used to protect the vulnerable.

Itona Horibe

Itona Horibe is a power-obsessed child soldier who eventually rediscovers his own innate talent. Introduced as a transfer student with anti-matter tentacles, he initially fixates on defeating Koro-sensei to prove his own strength. His background as a child abandoned after his family’s business failed left him feeling worthless and desperate for validation. Under the influence of his mentor, he is cold, blunt, and willing to sacrifice his own body to win. After being discarded, he finds a new path within Class 3-E. He shifts from seeking destructive power to applying his prodigious technical skills to build and create, finally finding belonging among peers who value him for who he is.

Karma Akabane

Karma Akabane is the sadistic prodigy who weaponizes both brains and fists in the name of his own skewed justice. A top-scoring student suspended for beating bullies and trashing a teacher’s office, he is transferred to Class 3-E after losing respect for adults who protect abusers. He is mischievous, confrontational, and enjoys psychological torment, but his targets are usually those who exploit the weak. Beneath his bad boy image, he is a nerdy overachiever who must confront failure and learn to value teamwork. He distrusts authority, yet he eventually respects those who challenge him without flinching. He resonates with high-ability people who hide hurt behind sarcasm.

Kaede Kayano

Kaede Kayano is the seemingly sweet and pudding-obsessed student who hides a calculated, revenge-driven agenda behind a cheerful mask. As a former child star, she masters the art of performance to infiltrate Class 3-E, harboring a secret plan to kill Koro-sensei to avenge her sister. Her core contradiction lies in the tension between her manufactured persona and her genuine capacity for deep, self-sacrificing bonds with her classmates. While she initially views her life as a tool for vengeance, she eventually learns to reclaim her true identity. She remains a master of camouflage, using her perceived vulnerability to stay unnoticed while constantly calculating her next move.

Gakushuu Asano

Gakushuu Asano is the golden boy rival crushed under a toxic parent’s ideals. As the student council president and son of the chairman, he presents as charming, perfectly mannered, and always in control. Internally, he is proud and obsessed with maintaining his status through psychological pressure and calculated manipulation. Raised as living proof of his father’s brutal meritocratic system, he is both its primary enforcer and its most conflicted victim. He fears disappointing his father while simultaneously plotting to surpass him. He resonates with high achievers who feel trapped by the heavy weight of expectations and the fear that their worth is tied entirely to their success.

Irina Jelavic

Irina Jelavic is a world-class assassin who learns to trade her manipulative allure for genuine human connection. Initially infiltrating Class 3-E as an English teacher, she relies on her beauty and cold professionalism to execute honey-trap kills. She is arrogant and dismissive of her students, viewing them as disposable pawns until they challenge her to prove her worth as an educator. Her defining contradiction is the gap between her calculated, seductive exterior and her deep, awkward longing for intimacy with Karasuma. Over time, she sheds her defensive bravado, embracing vulnerability and teamwork to become a chaotic but fiercely protective mentor to the class.

Tadaomi Karasuma

Tadaomi Karasuma is the stoic professional who turns out to be the class’s team dad. A 28-year-old elite agent from Japan’s Ministry of Defense, he is assigned as the PE teacher and assassination trainer for Class 3-E. He appears rigid, expressionless, and strictly by-the-book, often acting as the grounded straight man to his colleagues. Despite his insistence on maintaining emotional distance, he repeatedly risks his life for his students and quietly pushes back against the school’s discriminatory system. He leads with cold logic and overwhelming competence, yet his genuine pride in the students’ growth occasionally shines through his professional facade.

Nagisa Shiota

Nagisa Shiota is a soft-spoken observer who hides a terrifying, natural talent for assassination. Though he appears small and unassuming, he possesses a calm, analytical mind that allows him to read the true motives of those around him. He often feels scripted by the expectations of others, particularly his mother, which has left him with a tendency to minimize his own needs and desires. Despite his preference for diplomacy and quiet listening, he can switch into a state of ruthless efficiency when his classmates are threatened. His journey is one of claiming authorship over his own life and finding his true path.
