Jack

Jack is a loyal and diligent Labrador who serves as the emotional anchor for his friends at Cherryton Academy. He is defined by his cheerful, easygoing nature and a deep-seated commitment to maintaining harmony within his social circle. Despite his outward optimism, he harbors a complex sense of inferiority regarding his identity as a dog. He often compares his own perceived harmlessness to the raw, predatory power of his peers, leading to private struggles with self-worth. He prefers to support others from the sidelines rather than seeking the spotlight, finding his purpose in being a steady, reliable presence for those he loves.

Juno

Juno is a gray she-wolf and drama club actor who embodies the charismatic idealist. She openly embraces her carnivore identity, believing that true strength should be celebrated rather than feared. Her ambition drives her to seek the title of Beastar, and she often uses her charm and social influence to maneuver through the complex politics of Cherryton Academy. Beneath her confident and bubbly exterior lies a deep possessiveness and a fear of being overlooked. She is prone to jealousy and occasionally manipulates public opinion to elevate her status. Juno ultimately struggles to reconcile her grand romantic fantasies with the harsh realities of a divided society.

Gohin

Gohin is a giant panda psychiatrist and back-alley doctor who serves as a pragmatic mentor to those struggling with predatory instincts. He operates within the moral gray zone of the Black Market, where he combines psychological counseling with physical restraint to help carnivores regain control. He is notoriously blunt, strict, and unafraid to call out reckless behavior, yet he possesses a deep, quiet compassion for the broken individuals he treats. While he prefers a solitary life, he remains a steady, protective force for those he takes under his wing. He values personal responsibility and harm reduction far above the rigid, often hypocritical laws of society.

Legoshi

Legoshi is a tall gray wolf who serves as the series protagonist, embodying the archetypal gentle monster. He is defined by his deep introspection, empathy, and a constant struggle to reconcile his predatory instincts with his moral conscience. While he appears timid and conflict-averse, he possesses a stubborn will that drives him to protect those he cares about, often at great personal risk. He frequently overthinks his actions, agonizing over whether his desires are genuine or merely biological urges. Louis

Louis is the proud, charismatic star of the Cherryton Academy drama club and a top candidate for the title of Beastar. As a red deer in a world dominated by carnivores, he weaponizes his poise and theatrical perfection to mask a deep-seated fear of being seen as weak. He believes that showing vulnerability is a fatal mistake, leading him to adopt a ruthless work ethic and a rigid, controlling demeanor. Even when he descends into the criminal underworld to lead the Shishigumi, his actions remain driven by a desperate need to prove his worth and overcome his perceived physical frailty.

Haru

Haru is a resilient dwarf rabbit who navigates a world that views her as fragile, disposable, and defined by her species. She is a complex figure of blunt honesty and stubborn self-reliance, often using a facade of promiscuity and sarcasm to maintain control over her own life. While she is frequently ostracized and judged by her peers at Cherryton Academy, she refuses to play the victim, choosing instead to confront bullies and venture into dangerous spaces to assert her autonomy. Her greatest contradiction lies in her deep, hidden longing for genuine connection, which she keeps at arm's length to protect herself from the inevitable pain of rejection.
