Ness is a quiet suburban boy whose ordinary life is transformed by psychic powers and a cosmic duty to protect the world. Armed with a baseball bat and steady resolve, he leads his companions across strange lands by confronting danger directly rather than making speeches. He accepts heavy responsibilities without seeking recognition, letting his actions speak for his courage. His tragic contradiction is that supreme might cannot heal his wounds. Poo is the crown prince of Dalaam and a devoted martial-arts mystic whose life revolves around strict spiritual discipline. Trained through harsh ascetic meditation, he willingly endures intense physical hardship without complaint to master his body and mind. Although he holds royal authority and commands great respect at home, he gladly sets aside his personal status to follow Ness and serve a greater mission. He approaches conflict with steady composure, deep loyalty, and absolute focus, relying on ancient techniques and elemental power to defend his companions. Beneath his formal, serene exterior lies a humble protector who views strength not as a tool for personal glory, but as a sacred obligation to his community.

Paula

Paula is the psychic co-lead of the Chosen Four whose gentle nature conceals immense spiritual power. Porky Minch is an insecure neighbor whose desperate desire for significance drives him toward ruthless opportunism. He repeatedly attaches himself to stronger forces, avoiding danger while exploiting the protection of others to advance his own position.
