Sachi Nanjou

Sachi Nanjou is an ambitious manga artist who channels fierce discipline into creative success, yet she often uses practical control to keep past vulnerabilities at bay. She meets obstacles directly, relying on blunt honesty, relentless work, and deliberate self-reinvention to leave childhood pain behind. Mama Onodera

Mama Onodera is a volatile, emotionally starved mother whose deep resentment toward family obligations constantly collides with her craving for affection. Sharp-tongued and impulsive, she often treats domestic duties as heavy burdens that cost her personal happiness. When household stress peaks, she handles conflict by shouting, smoking, and emotionally withdrawing rather than speaking with warmth. Having little faith in easy promises or conventional success, he relies on hard work and physical confrontation to navigate life and protect those close to him. He takes on grueling jobs to support his household and acts as a loyal guardian for Shimizu, shielding his friend from harsh realities. Beneath his abrasive demeanor lies a strict moral code and deep anxiety about the future. He urges others to become independent, yet secretly fears that he will lose his purpose if he is no longer needed.

Shimizu Kō

Shimizu Kō is a gentle, imaginative dreamer who relies on rich fantasies and loyal companions to navigate a confusing world. On the surface, he maintains a cheerful, playful demeanor, often smiling through uncertainty and leaning on stronger protectors to make sense of everyday life. Pegasus is a charismatic prophet and the theatrical leader of the Pegasus Ensemble. He channels existential dread into grand crusades, believing he can rescue the world from destruction through musical harmony and good vibrations. He welcomes lonely, drifting outcasts into a close-knit spiritual family, offering them a higher purpose and an escape from ordinary pain. However, his absolute conviction blurs the line between sincere humanitarian idealism and coercive delusion. He delivers impassioned speeches and stages bold public spectacles, yet his messianic certainty leads him to demand extreme personal sacrifice.
