The Link Click Test is inspired by psychometric methodology and based on research into the characters of the series. The test provides feedback such as the following:

Cheng Xiaoshi

Cheng Xiaoshi is an impulsive, big-hearted time diver who throws himself into other people’s lives to fix their regrets. He claps to send his consciousness into the past, absorbing the emotions and memories of his clients while acting as their proxy. Though he often appears playful and reckless, he carries a deep abandonment wound from his childhood that fuels his intense loyalty to friends. He makes decisions with his heart, frequently flouting rules if a person’s pain moves him. While he often masks his inner distress with humor, he shoulders heavy guilt for every outcome that goes wrong, constantly striving to find light in dark situations.

Lu Guang

Lu Guang is a controlled, hyper-rational seer who treats time like a script he is sworn to follow, even as his heart keeps breaking against it. His power allows him to monitor events in the twelve hours after a photo is taken, feeding instructions to Cheng Xiaoshi to ensure the past remains undisturbed. Outwardly, he is stoic and clinical, serving as the strategic anchor to his partner’s impulsive nature. Yet, his calm is a mask for immense strain. He rigidly enforces rules to prevent catastrophe, but he repeatedly breaks his own principles to protect those he loves, hiding his grief behind competence and control.

Qian Jin

Qian Jin is a suave, hollowed-out ex-detective who reinvents himself as a freelance agent of vengeance, projecting his own failures onto the world and weaponizing other people’s powers to punish those he decides deserve it. Once an evidence-driven police officer, he murdered his wife in a jealous rage and spiraled rather than face his error. He later groomed the Li twins, using their abilities to orchestrate murders and cover his tracks. He frames himself as a righteous punisher, but this is self-delusion to avoid accountability. Beneath his charismatic surface lies a man terrified of his own guilt, clinging to control to justify his existence.

Liu Min

Liu Min is a spoiled, volatile influencer whose worst impulses are amplified by wealth and insecurity until he becomes both a perpetrator and a pawn. As the son of a demanding CEO who openly favors his brother, he is driven by a desperate need to protect his public image and ego. He lashes out when criticized and relies on his status to avoid the consequences of his actions. Though he orchestrates harm to maintain control, he lacks true agency, often becoming a tool for more calculating figures. He is a mirror of what happens when hurt pride and parental pressure meet a lack of moral backbone.

Qiao Ling

Qiao Ling is a grounded, sharp-tongued caretaker who stands with one foot in the ordinary world and one in the supernatural chaos, holding the trio together. As the manager of Time Photo Studio, she handles the logistics, rent, and client relations while the others dive into time. She is lively and outspoken, quick to call out recklessness, yet she remains the emotional anchor for those around her. Beneath her no-nonsense exterior lies a deep, protective love for her chosen family. She faces the terrifying reality of their work with steady courage, often acting as the voice of reason when grief threatens to consume them.

Li Tianchen

Li Tianchen is a traumatized prodigy who
