Outwardly an imposing death metal vocalist who defaults to anger when emotionally distressed, he hides a socially awkward interior behind a growling facade. He is functionally incompetent at ordinary adult responsibilities, yet he protects his bandmates through quiet, fiercely loyal actions rather than comforting words. His life centers entirely on making intense art and keeping his found family together.

William Murderface

William Murderface is the thin-skinned, aggressive bassist of Dethklok who covers deep self-hatred with obscene stunts and explosive negativity. Plagued by chronic insecurity and an excruciating need for attention, he constantly pushes people away while secretly longing for their approval. He bristles at any perceived slight, resorting to passive-aggressive sabotage, petulant outbursts, or bizarre vanity projects whenever he feels excluded by his bandmates. Beneath his grotesque humor and obsession with violence lies a fragile self-worth desperate for connection and validation. He would rather be hated for being vile than ignored entirely, continually self-sabotaging the very relationships and respect he hungers to secure.

Charles Foster Offdensen

Charles Foster Offdensen is the sharp, hyper-competent manager, lawyer, and chief financial officer who single-handedly keeps the world's most chaotic band functional. Impeccably dressed and unfazed by constant crisis, he handles legal battles, security threats, and astronomical budgets with calm strategic planning. He acts as a stern guardian to his reckless employer-family, absorbing endless stress to shield them from their own catastrophic instincts. Though his methods can be ruthless and pragmatic, his loyalty is absolute. He routinely risks his own life to defend the band from political, corporate, and physical threats. Behind his stoic executive demeanor lies an unshakeable duty to keep chaos organized.

Toki Wartooth

Toki Wartooth is the boyish rhythm guitarist for Dethklok who masks a dark, abusive past behind a sweet and naive demeanor. Craving warmth and belonging, he eagerly seeks affection from authority figures and surrounds himself with stuffed animals, candy, and childish hobbies. Beneath his gentle nature and desire to see the good in everyone lies a deep insecurity that can spark sudden, explosive fits of rage when he is pushed too far. He clings tightly to anyone who offers him kindness and loyalty. Struggling to prove his place in the band, Toki constantly balances his need for innocent comfort with destructive habits and violent outbursts.

Metal Masked Assassin

Metal Masked Assassin is a silver-masked terrorist leader and brutal operative driven by an unyielding obsession with seeking payback for his slain brother. He channels deep personal grief into a relentless crusade against those he holds responsible, executing terrifying ambushes and torturing opponents without showing mercy. Beyond his violent tactics, he possesses a remarkable ability to lead bitter followers into a unified, fanatical army bound by a common vendetta. His extreme cruelty masks a tragic core of twisted family loyalty, where destructive retaliation becomes his sole remaining purpose. He refuses to forgive past wrongs, pursuing total vengeance to quiet his unyielding sorrow.

Skwisgaar Skwigelf

Skwisgaar Skwigelf is the hyper-technical lead guitarist of Dethklok and the self-proclaimed fastest player in the world. Driven by an obsession with flawless speed and musical perfection, he treats his instrument as both his core identity and personal armor. He holds everyone around him to exacting standards, routinely dismissing anyone who lacks skill or discipline with cold sarcasm and haughty indifference. Beneath his arrogant exterior lies a deep fear of being ordinary or abandoned, rooted in childhood neglect. He buries emotional pain behind constant practice, superficial relationships, and supreme pride, relying on high artistic standards to mask a profound need for validation.

Pickles

Pickles is the sharp-tongued drummer and practical workhorse of Dethklok, serving as the band's reluctant voice of reason amid constant chaos. Possessing genuine musical versatility and common sense, he regularly cleans up the messes left by his incompetent bandmates. Beneath his cynical banter and heavy drinking lies deep resentment toward a neglectful family that always preferred his deadbeat brother. Pickles desperately craves respect and emotional stability, yet he constantly deflects painful feelings with sarcastic jokes, substance abuse, or sudden exits. His jaded exterior hides a fiercely protective caretaker who keeps his chosen family together while quietly expecting eventual betrayal from anyone who gets close.

Dr. Rockzo

Dr. Rockzo is a washed-up glam rock frontman turned chaotic party clown who uses wild antics to chase immediate pleasure and run from deep personal shame. Once the singer for a major rock band, his severe substance abuse and erratic behavior destroyed his career, leaving him staggering through low-rent gigs in neon tights and face paint. Behind his intense enthusiasm and relentless pursuit of vices lies a fragile performer who shifts quickly between frantic highs and dark panic. While most people view him as an exhausting nuisance, he clings fiercely to rare moments of genuine sympathy, hiding his fear of failure beneath a constantly loud, attention-seeking mask.
