Arknights Test

The Arknights Test is inspired by psychometric methodology and based on research into the characters of the series. The test provides feedback such as the following:

W

W is a volatile Sarkaz mercenary who plays the role of a bomb-happy agent of chaos. She cultivates a reputation for wild unpredictability to keep her enemies off-balance and protect herself from danger. Beneath her cackling exterior and love for psychological warfare lies a grieving survivor who deeply mourns lost comrades and a fallen leader. She treats contracts and alliances as temporary conveniences, refusing to trust any authority figures. She constantly alternates between meticulous tactical planning and reckless escalation. Her erratic behavior is a protective shield against the pain of endless war, masking a quiet longing for a true place to belong among people she can trust.

Ch'en

Ch'en is a disciplined police officer who fights to maintain order through rigid rules and strict structure. She hides her genuine care behind a stiff, unapproachable exterior. She constantly pushes herself to exhausting limits to avoid failure, holding herself to impossibly high standards. Her core contradiction lies in her devotion to a corrupt system that often causes the very suffering she wants to prevent. When authority figures betray her values, she faces a painful choice between her duty and her conscience. She prefers concrete action over empty promises. She acts out of a deep need to protect others, even if she struggles to show her warmth openly.

Kal'tsit

Kal'tsit is the ancient chief medic and de facto director of Rhodes Island. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to protect Amiya, the Doctor, and the fragile future of Terra. Her daily demeanor is clinical, blunt, and emotionally distant. She often keeps others at arm's length to maintain strict control over potential risks. Beneath this cold, guarded exterior lies a fierce determination to bear any burden for her allies. In conflict, she is ruthlessly pragmatic, relying on historical facts and her powerful bio-weapon companion Mon3tr to eliminate threats. She distrusts external authorities, and she sacrifices personal closeness for safety, always choosing duty over emotional intimacy.

Texas

Texas is a taciturn Lupo courier for Penguin Logistics who hides a dark past as the last surviving heir of a powerful Siracusan mafia family. She strives to live a quiet, simple life, masking her history of bloodshed with a calm and professional exterior. Yet, her aloof demeanor hides deep guilt, grief, and suppressed anger. In moments of crisis, she acts with surgical, unsentimental precision, relying on her personal code rather than laws or institutions. She protects her small circle of teammates fiercely but keeps others at a distance to keep them safe. Under pressure, she shuts down emotionally and focuses entirely on the job.

Exusiai

Exusiai is a cheerful Sankta sniper for Penguin Logistics who brings infectious energy and rapid-fire action wherever she goes. She is known as a playful, apple-pie-loving party starter who constantly drags her friends into wild antics. However, her goofy exterior masks a deep contradiction. Beneath her irreverent humor lies a devout, sincere spiritual faith and a quiet introspective streak. She faces dangerous situations with improvisational confidence and luck rather than rigid plans. When confronting fear or despair, she uses levity and jokes to keep her anxieties at bay. She fiercely protects her close companions, balancing a chaotic lifestyle with genuine piety.

The Doctor

The Doctor is an amnesiac tactician and medical researcher who serves as the brilliant coordinator of Rhodes Island. Driven by a desire to protect their allies and rebuild their life from scratch, they solve complex crises by staying calm and analyzing the facts. Their main contradiction lies in their forgotten past; once a cold strategist who treated people as expendable chess pieces, they now show a gentle, deeply empathetic nature. They hide their own vulnerability and lingering doubts to guide and support others, relying on the strengths of their operators rather than fighting alone. Though they are highly respected, their true identity remains a mystery.

Talulah

Talulah Artorius is a Draco revolutionary who founds the Reunion Movement to protect the persecuted Infected, only to become the very tyrant she fought to overthrow. Driven by a deep hatred of systemic cruelty and the trauma of losing her loved ones, she initially seeks justice and community. However, betrayal and manipulation twist her idealism into a cold, ruthless authoritarianism. She orchestrates devastating conflicts, viewing civilian lives as mere collateral in her war against oppressive empires. Despite her terrifying descent into violence, she remains a tragic figure who eventually seeks a quiet path of atonement, carrying the heavy guilt of her compromised movement.
