Mefisuto Feresu

Mefisuto Feresu is a flamboyant demon king who serves as the principal of True Cross Academy, hiding his true allegiance behind a theatrical and whimsical mask. He treats the human and demon realms as his personal chessboard, manipulating events from behind the scenes to keep himself entertained. While he acts as a capricious mentor to the exorcists, his ultimate motives remain entirely inscrutable to both allies and enemies. He avoids direct conflict, preferring clever contracts and time-distorting tricks over brute force. This eccentric trickster thrives on chaos, constantly testing others while keeping his own heart safely hidden from the world.

Ryûji Suguro

Ryûji Suguro is a fiercely determined and highly disciplined student who hides a deeply protective heart behind a harsh, delinquent-like exterior. Driven by a desire to restore his family temple's disgraced honor, he pushes himself to be the top academic performer while training relentlessly to defeat Satan. He is confrontational and quick to anger when others fail to take their duties seriously, yet he is also deeply principled and takes charge of his peers to keep them safe. He struggles with the heavy burden of his father's legacy, masking his deep-seated insecurities and fear of failure with stubborn overwork and loud, demanding expectations.

Izumo Kamiki

Izumo Kamiki is a highly talented exorcist student whose prickly, arrogant exterior hides a history of deep family trauma and abandonment. As a skilled shrine maiden capable of summoning powerful fox spirits, she relies strictly on her own competence and refuses to show weakness to her peers. She initially treats her classmates with harsh sarcasm and emotional distance, using insults as armor to prevent anyone from getting close enough to hurt her. Beneath this defensive hostility, she is a deeply loyal and protective companion who desperately fears losing the people she cares about. She slowly learns to lower her guard and accept her classmates as her found family.

Renzô Shima

Renzô Shima is a carefree, easygoing exorcist student who prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict and danger whenever possible. He often plays the harmless, girl-crazy clown of the group to deflect serious expectations and keep things light. Beneath this lazy and cowardly slacker persona, however, lies a highly pragmatic and observant mind.
