As the immortal Silver Wolf, he is fiercely devoted to the welfare of beastmen and harbors a deep, justified suspicion toward human institutions. His primary contradiction lies in his hardened, cynical exterior, which masks a deeply empathetic heart that aches for the safety of his community. While he initially relies on physical force and direct confrontation to solve problems, he slowly learns to trust others through his bond with Michiru. He is defined by survivor’s guilt, duty, and a quiet, unwavering commitment to justice.

Pinga

Pinga is a restless, free-spirited albatross beastman who prioritizes personal liberty above all else. As a former soldier turned disillusioned activist, he harbors a deep-seated distrust for institutional authorities and the rigid laws that attempt to cage his existence. He is direct and daring in his actions, often ignoring borders and regulations to pursue his own moral compass. While he possesses a cynical view of systemic change, he remains deeply committed to the survival of his people. His primary struggle lies in balancing his need for independence with the heavy burden of his past, often choosing to remain a nomadic outsider rather than conform.

Marie Itami

Marie Itami is the classic streetwise fixer and morally flexible hustler with a reluctant heart of gold. A mink beastman who operates as a smuggler and information broker, she is sly, cunning, and opportunistic, routinely plotting how to get paid twice for the same favor. She treats relationships as means to an end and does not hesitate to manipulate naive newcomers. Yet she possesses a surprisingly good heart, repeatedly aiding Michiru in crises and functioning like a tough, unsentimental guardian. She desperately wants to survive in a rigged world, but she cannot stop herself from showing up for people she pretends not to care about.

Jackie

Jackie is the big-hearted, slightly foolish team captain of the Bears baseball team in Anima City. She is a passionate leader who rallies her community with infectious energy and optimism, yet she frequently struggles with poor judgment and financial naivety. Her tendency to make impulsive decisions often lands her in precarious situations, such as falling for predatory scams that threaten her livelihood. Despite these setbacks, she remains fiercely loyal to her friends and refuses to let hardship dampen her spirit. Jackie approaches life with a reliance on gut feelings rather than careful planning, embodying the resilience and chaotic warmth of the city's underdogs.

Boris Cliff

Boris Cliff is the sinister mentor and cult handler, a cold, calculating manipulator who wraps exploitation in spiritual rhetoric. After Nazuna’s transformation, he facilitates her rise as the Silver Wolf idol, installing her as the face of the Silver Wolf Order while he remains the hidden operator. He is deeply manipulative, leveraging community crises to win followers and secure the cult a foothold in the slums. He treats his protege like a doll, molding her into an ideal tool for his agenda. His emotional contradiction lies in his investment in her success, which is fundamentally about ownership and ideological control rather than genuine care.

Alan Sylvasta

Alan Sylvasta is a polished, soft-spoken mastermind who hides a genocidal ideology behind a veneer of corporate progress. As the head of Sylvasta Pharmaceuticals, he commands instant obedience and projects an aura of calm, calculated superiority. He views beastmen as tools to be managed or discarded, secretly engineering mass suffering to achieve his vision of a purified society. While he appears charming and playful in public, he remains deeply detached from the personal struggles of those he manipulates. His ultimate contradiction lies in his ability to dress systemic cruelty in the language of order and science, viewing his destructive path as a necessary, logical evolution.

Nazuna Hiwatashi

Nazuna Hiwatashi is an ambitious dreamer who transforms from a devoted friend into a charismatic, false messiah figure. Driven by a deep-seated need for validation and a desire to be seen, she embraces the role of the Silver Wolf to bring hope to the beastmen of Anima City. Her journey is defined by the contradiction between her genuine wish to help her people and the pride she finds in her newfound status. Though she initially uses deception and performance to distance herself from her past, she eventually struggles to reconcile her idol persona with her true identity, ultimately choosing to reclaim her agency and reconnect with those she loves.
