She often goes along with cruel jokes and dismisses outsiders to protect her standing. Beneath her snobbish exterior, she feels like a pawn in her parents' bitter marriage. She defaults to defensiveness when challenged, but she can show deep warmth once she feels safe enough to let her guard down.

Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is an academically driven student who ties his entire self-worth to his grades and school performance. He politely follows rules, cooperates with authority figures, and often acts as the reliable record-keeper for his peers. However, beneath his compliant and high-achieving exterior lies a deep, paralyzing fear of failing. He strives to maintain absolute order and demands total respect from his students, yet he frequently resorts to intimidation and threats to get his way. His visible role as a strict disciplinarian hides a deep, simmering resentment and fear of the younger generation. While he believes he is defending traditional standards, he often turns minor rule violations into personal power struggles. He handles his own disillusionment by doubling down on control, isolating himself from both his colleagues and the teenagers he is supposed to guide.
