Kohei Imamura

Kohei Imamura is a diehard otaku who balances intense, niche passions with a surprising capacity for deep loyalty. He is defined by his devotion to anime and voice actresses, yet he frequently uses self-mockery to navigate the social awkwardness that follows him outside his fandom circles. While he often appears as a chaotic, party-loving student when among friends, he is secretly industrious and highly skilled, managing complex projects like running virtual idol personas with technical precision. He avoids direct emotional confrontation, preferring to hide behind his hobbies, but he remains fiercely protective of those he trusts, eventually finding the courage to pursue genuine, vulnerable connections.

Aina Yoshiwara

Aina Yoshiwara is the insecure romantic whose split persona dramatizes the gap between how we feel and how we present. In everyday life she is shy, soft-spoken, and plagued by low self-esteem regarding her appearance, which makes her painfully self-conscious. She is more focused on romance than anyone else in the group and openly notes she is the only one seriously thinking about relationships. As her Cakey persona, she becomes bold and flamboyant, using heavy makeup to mask her nerves. Her arc centers on unrequited feelings and the struggle to assert her true self, eventually finding genuine connection through mutual support and vulnerability.

Shinji Tokita

Shinji Tokita is the exuberant ringleader of the Peek a Boo diving club. He functions as a loud, sociable party captain who thrives on chaos, drinking contests, and relentless dares. Despite his unrestrained exterior and tendency to drag others into absurdity, he possesses a deadly serious commitment to scuba diving. He spares no effort to ensure his underclassmen have safe, high-quality experiences, balancing his wild antics with a deep, responsible passion for the sport. Outside the club, he maintains a mature, balanced life, showing that his boisterous nature is a choice rather than a lack of direction. He approaches life with infectious optimism and unwavering loyalty.

Ryujiro Kotobuki

Ryujiro Kotobuki is the charismatic, troublesome bartender-senpai who balances rowdy indulgence with emotional intelligence. Like Tokita, he is boisterous, rowdy, and usually among the first to get everyone drunk and naked, making Iori label him troublesome. Yet as a professional bartender he is highly competent and popular, known as a good listener to customers’ troubles, suggesting strong empathic skills under his clowning. He and Tokita function as equal partners steering club culture, modeling a life where one can both party hard and take diving seriously. In conflict he uses charm, social pressure, and shared rituals more than direct logic, but he adheres strictly to diving safety norms.

Azusa Hamaoka

Azusa Hamaoka is the shameless, hedonistic senpai who masks sharp perception and complex desire beneath outrageous playfulness. Unlike others in the series, she fully joins the men’s drinking and stripping, partying hard and casually breaking social taboos without embarrassment. Yet she is remarkably perceptive about the absurd logic driving the situations around her, often reading social dynamics that others miss. She is bisexual and frank about her attractions, but she holds back on acting on them when it conflicts with her internal code of conduct. Nanaka Kotegawa
