Fjord is a brooding, image-conscious ex-soldier who evolves from a half-orc warlock bound to a sea leviathan into a champion of self-determined faith. Orphaned and treated as an outsider, he initially adopts a charismatic, mysterious persona to mask deep-seated cowardice and insecurity. He often steps into leadership roles, yet his early path is defined by moral compromises made out of fear and ambition. His core struggle involves disentangling his identity from manipulative authority figures. By replacing his fear of weakness with chosen vows and community, he learns that true strength comes from vulnerability and the courage to define his own purpose.

Beauregard 'Beau' Lionett

Beauregard 'Beau' Lionett is a brash, hyper-skeptical monk-investigator who turns her chip on her shoulder into relentless inquiry and physical grit. Raised in a status-obsessed family that neglected her, she responded with rebellion and crime before being conscripted into the Cobalt Soul. Now an Expositor, she uses her abrasive honesty and combat prowess to uncover systemic corruption across the continent. Her sarcasm and physical confidence serve as armor against intimacy, masking a deep-seated fear of abandonment. She attacks problems head-on, questioning authority and digging for the truth. Ultimately, she is learning that being the one who challenges everything does not require pushing everyone away.

Yasha Nydoorin

Yasha Nydoorin is a stoic, traumatized aasimar barbarian whose towering presence and silent demeanor mask a life defined by exile, forced prophecy, and profound grief. Once branded an outcast by her tribe, she wanders as a mercenary, carrying the weight of her past and the literal black wings of a fallen angel. She is a contradiction of brutal, monstrous rage in battle and a deeply sentimental, gentle soul who loves flowers, poetry, and quiet kindness. Her journey centers on breaking the chains of her history, learning that she is not a weapon of fate, but a person capable of choosing her own path.

Veth Brenatto is an anxious, sharp-witted mother turned compulsive thief who navigates the world as the goblin rogue Nott the Brave. Driven by a desperate need to protect her husband and son, she uses humor and alcohol to mask the trauma of her transformation and the loss of her former life. Jester Lavorre is a chaotic-good trickster cleric who weaponizes joy, art, and pranks to transform the world around her. Raised in a brothel by a famous courtesan, she developed an intense devotion to the Traveler to cope with her social isolation. She is the party’s primary healer and emotional glue, using humor to navigate tension and comfort her friends. Beneath her exuberant, pastry-obsessed exterior lies a deep fear that she is only valued as entertainment.
