Although it enjoys mundane pleasures like ice cream and movies, it struggles with a fundamentally alien perspective on life and death. It copies social behaviors to fit in, yet it lacks a natural understanding of human morality. It will casually threaten violence to protect its secret, only to cry and apologize when Yoshiki recoils. This being constantly wrestles with its own monstrous nature while trying to learn how to love.

Yuuki Tadokoro

Yuuki Tadokoro is a cautious high school student who desperately wants to maintain a normal, quiet life in his isolated mountain village. As a close friend to Yoshiki and Asako, his core motive is to preserve the safety and cohesion of his social group. His main contradiction lies in his awareness of the growing tension around him, which he senses but actively chooses not to probe too deeply out of fear. He prefers to let stronger personalities take the lead during conflicts. When strange and risky situations arise, he voices his doubts and sticks close to his friends rather than taking heroic risks. He values peace over curiosity.

Tanaka
