He repeatedly steps into serious danger to defend neighbors who openly dislike him. Wyck carries the heavy burden of remembering what everyone else prefers to forget, channeling private pain into relentless vigilance and reluctant heroism.

Bechir Clemons

Bechir Clemons is the grounded sheriff of Widow's Bay who strives to maintain order while guarding the people he loves. Guided by calm skepticism, he instinctively looks for rational explanations when faced with bizarre town rumors and reckless behavior. His primary goal is securing a safe future for his pregnant wife and unborn child, even if that means leaving his badge behind. However, his professional composure clashes with growing dread as standard procedures fail against impossible threats. When routine logic collapses, his steady patience gives way to fierce determination, pushing him to take drastic risks to ensure his family survives the surrounding danger.

Patricia Moyer is the mayor's eccentric assistant who longs to be accepted and believed by her community.
