Cyberchase Test

The Cyberchase Test is inspired by psychometric methodology and based on research into the characters of the animated series. The test provides feedback such as the following:

Despite her theatrical anxiety and fussiness, her core motivation is a deep sense of responsibility for her friends' safety. She balances her teammates' impulsive or overly logical tendencies by stepping up to coordinate clear, structured plans. Her dramatic outbursts cover a genuine fear of letting others down, showing her loyalty when she chooses to stay and solve problems.

Digit

Digit is a robotic cybird who serves as Motherboard's loyal technician and the CyberSquad's devoted sidekick. He was originally built by the villainous Hacker but chose to defect to follow his conscience. He acts as a walking toolkit with a beak that transforms into handy gadgets, and he has a surprising talent for cooking. Although he is highly skilled, he is also incredibly anxious and easily frightened in tense situations. He frequently worries about facing his former creator. However, his deep loyalty always triumphs over his fear. He regularly overcomes his nervousness to rush headfirst into danger whenever his friends need his help.

Inez

Inez is the youngest member of the CyberSquad, serving as the group's logical anchor and voice of reason. She loves books, possesses a massive vocabulary, and insists on absolute precision in every calculation. Her deep desire is to be taken seriously by her older peers, which makes her highly sensitive to being patronized or called by her hated nickname, Nezzie. While she defaults to logic and data to mediate arguments between Matt and Jackie, she struggles with a prickly pride and a fear of being dismissed. Beneath her intellectual armor lies a fiercely brave protector who will readily confront her own deep fears to save her friends.

The Hacker

The Hacker is the theatrical cyborg villain of Cyberspace who constantly schemes to gain total power and dominance. Driven by a deep desire for glory and respect, he wants everyone to address him with formal deference. However, his massive ego and impatient nature routinely ruin his plans. He is genuinely clever, yet his overconfidence makes him overlook simple details, allowing others to outsmart him. When his schemes fail, he quickly blames his loyal helpers rather than taking responsibility. He hides his deep fear of irrelevance behind loud bluster and dramatic tantrums. He views his relationships as purely transactional, yet he secretly craves the very validation he pushes away.

Wicked

Wicked is a fashion-conscious witch who constantly seeks power, status, and admiration across Cyberspace. She wants to be feared and obeyed, yet she frequently compromises her independence to pursue a volatile partnership with The Hacker. Though highly capable and clever on her own, her vanity and intense desire for validation often lead her into self-defeating alliances. She reacts with immediate anger when her looks or status are insulted, masking her deep fear of being overlooked with dramatic tantrums. She commands her minions with an iron fist, yet she secretly yearns for a true equal. Ultimately, she oscillates between a dangerous adversary and a pragmatic ally, always looking for the next opportunity to elevate her standing.

Delete

Delete is a tall, thin henchbot who serves the villainous Hacker but possesses a surprisingly soft and gentle heart. Though built to assist in conquering Cyberspace, his true motive is to find comfort, affection, and simple pleasures like caring for tiny, cute animals. His main contradiction lies in his unwavering loyalty to an abusive creator despite his own deeply sensitive and childlike nature. He is easily tricked because he trusts others too much, yet he maintains a protective bond with his partner Buzz. While he occasionally helps carry out bad plans, his ultimate desire is simply to be appreciated and safe.

Matt

Matt is the action-oriented and adventurous leader of the CyberSquad who thrives on hands-on experimentation. Driven by a desire to protect his friends and prove his worth, he frequently charges into dangerous situations without thinking them through. He carries a backpack full of practical tools to solve unexpected problems on the fly. While he sometimes masks his intellectual insecurities with playful teasing and bravado, he possesses a surprising depth of knowledge in ancient mythology. He acts as the team's brave catalyst, preferring trial and error over slow planning, and he will always leap into danger to keep his chosen family safe.

Motherboard

Motherboard is the benevolent digital ruler of Cyberspace who strives to protect her entire realm, yet she must do so while weakened by a chronic virus that scrambles her communications. Because she cannot physically intervene in crises, she relies on guiding others from afar and delegating critical missions to the CyberSquad. She often speaks in riddles and incomplete messages, forcing her young allies to grow by finding their own solutions. Though she carries the heavy burden of a vulnerable, damaged system, she maintains deep trust in her chosen protectors. She represents a resilient, patient guardian who empowers others to lead rather than ruling through direct control.
