Gorgug Thistlespring

Gorgug Thistlespring is a gentle half-orc barbarian who constantly struggles to balance his immense physical power with his deeply anxious, polite nature. Adopted by loving gnome tinkerers, he often feels physically and socially out of place in a world not built for his size. He frequently apologizes for simply taking up space and desperately fears being perceived as unintelligent or frightening. Despite his intense insecurity, he is a fiercely loyal friend and a quiet pillar of support for his classmates. When his loved ones are threatened, he channels his simmering inner rage into protective action, proving that his strength is a shield rather than a curse.

Riz Gukgak

Riz Gukgak is a highly neurotic goblin detective who channels his deep-seated anxieties into obsessive, workaholic spirals. He is fiercely loyal to his friends, yet he constantly battles a quiet terror of being left behind or deemed useless if he cannot solve every problem for them. Armed with a trench coat, a briefcase, and an intense analytical mind, he frequently resorts to unconventional and surprisingly aggressive tactics to uncover the truth. He struggles to relax, equating his personal worth with his constant utility to the group. Under his quirky, hyper-vigilant exterior lies a lonely student who desperately craves stability and reassurance.

Arthur Aguefort

Arthur Aguefort is the chaotic founder and eternal principal of the Aguefort Adventuring Academy. He is a mercurial, overpowered archmage who believes the only way to make a real difference in the world is to constantly escalate situations and ignore standard rules. While he presents himself as a bombastic, eccentric mentor in a purple suit, his dramatic behavior masks a deep cosmic loneliness and the heavy burden of his long, immortal career. He casually manipulates time and reality to protect his students, yet his reckless methods force everyone around him to question his judgment. He shows his care through dangerous, unpredictable lessons rather than gentle comfort.

Fabian Seacaster

Fabian Seacaster is a wealthy half-elf jock who hides his deep fear of failure behind theatrical bravado and a desperate pursuit of social status. As the son of a legendary pirate, he struggles to step out of his father's massive shadow, initially using aggression and wealth to prove he is the coolest student on campus. He expresses himself through physical competition and dramatic flair, but his fragile ego easily cracks when his showboating turns into public embarrassment. Over time, he abandons rigid expectations of masculinity to embrace dance and emotional vulnerability, learning to value genuine friendship over superficial popularity.

Adaine Abernant

Adaine Abernant is a brilliant high-elf wizard who serves as her friend group's strategic brain while secretly battling severe anxiety. Raised in the shadow of an abusive, status-obsessed noble family, she struggles with intense academic perfectionism and the constant fear of failure. She relies on meticulous planning, raw intellect, and dry sarcasm to navigate crises, masking her emotional vulnerability behind a guarded exterior. Fig Faeth is a rebellious punk tiefling who masks her deep-seated guilt behind a loud, chaotic rock-star persona. As a bard and warlock, she uses her dramatic flair, music, and literal devilish charm to stir up trouble whenever life gets too quiet. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and will manipulate dangerous situations to protect them, yet she constantly struggles with the fear that she is a burden who ruined her family. Underneath her brash, confrontational exterior and impulsive risk-taking lies a vulnerable teenager who craves genuine love and forgiveness from the complicated adults in her life.
