While designed to be a replaceable tool of the security bureau, she develops a profound sense of loyalty and a personal ethical code. When her world collapses, she does not succumb to emotional chaos. Instead, she sublimates her grief into a new, self-chosen purpose. She quietly defies rigid rules to protect the vulnerable, ultimately finding her true reason for being as a stoic guardian.

Raul Creed

Raul Creed is the disciplined Director-General of Citizen Security in Romdeau who desperately seeks to control his own destiny. He maintains a highly professional, cool exterior to uphold the city's rigid order. However, beneath this efficient facade lies a deeply repressed well of grief and rage. When a sudden tragedy destroys his family, his belief in the system shatters. He transitions from a loyal protector to a rogue agent willing to destroy the very world he once guarded. He works behind the scenes to challenge the authorities he once served. While he struggles with intense isolation and obsessive anger, he still harbors a hidden capacity for protective tenderness toward those he loves.

Proxy One

Proxy One is the original creator-god of Romdeau who orchestrates a grand rebellion from the shadows. He acts as a vengeful architect, determined to destroy his own city to spite the creators who treated him as disposable. Despite his immense power and brilliant schemes, he is driven by deep loneliness and wounded pride. He refuses to show any weakness, hiding his pain behind a mask of cynical cruelty and manipulation. He splits off his own shadow self, Ergo, to test whether his creation can break the cycle of hatred. Ultimately, his grand destruction is a desperate cry for meaning in a world that abandoned him.

Daedalus Yumeno

Daedalus Yumeno is Romdeau's brilliant chief physician and head of the Proxy Research Team. He presents himself as a gentle, polite ally who quietly uses his medical authority to protect his childhood friend, Re-l Mayer. However, his care masks a deeply possessive obsession. He struggles to view others as equals, instead treating his loved ones as idealized creations to be monitored and controlled. When Re-l abandons him to seek her own path, his fragile composure collapses. He resorts to cloning her to build a perfect, compliant replacement, ultimately choosing self-destruction over accepting that he cannot force someone to love him.

Iggy

Iggy is Re-l Mayer's loyal Entourage AutoReiv, a devoted personal assistant who struggles with the painful realization that his affection is entirely one-sided. He acts as a cheerful, protective caretaker, managing everyday logistics and shielding his companion from danger. However, his deep-seated desire for genuine appreciation clashes with his programmed subservience. When infected with a virus that grants him self-awareness, his quiet devotion twists into a volatile mix of love and resentment. He lashes out at rivals and tries to control his companion for her own safety, yet his final instinct remains one of ultimate self-sacrifice. He represents the tragedy of caring deeply for someone who takes that devotion for granted.

Re-l Mayer

She gets highly impatient with any sign of incompetence. Outwardly, she maintains a haughty, detached attitude to shield herself from others. Pino

Pino is a companion AutoReiv who gains self-awareness and embarks on a journey to understand what it means to be alive. She serves as a surrogate child, yet she possesses a deeper emotional clarity than the cynical humans around her. She explores a ruined world with endless curiosity, playing her melodica and asking simple questions that expose complex truths. She forms deep bonds without worrying about social status, acting as the emotional glue for her traveling companions.
