The Infinity Train Test is inspired by psychometric methodology and based on research into the characters of the animated series. The test provides feedback such as the following:

Tulip Olsen

Tulip Olsen is an analytical and highly practical teenager who runs away from home only to find herself trapped on a surreal, endless train. She initially buries her grief under a layer of anger, blaming others for ruining her life. While she is socially awkward, she forms deep, protective bonds with her companions, Atticus and One-One. To escape the train, she must stop treating emotional pain as a logical puzzle to be bypassed and learn to accept difficult life changes.

Simon Laurent

Simon Laurent is the co-leader of a youth cult on the train who hides his deep terror of abandonment behind a mask of cold logic and rigid rules. Traumatized by an early betrayal, he demands absolute loyalty from his companions but struggles to extend the same trust in return. He desperately wants to feel safe and valued, yet he reacts to any challenge to his worldview with defensive anger and escalating cruelty. Instead of adapting to new truths, he doubles down on his dogmatic beliefs to protect his fragile ego. Ultimately, his inability to handle vulnerability or admit his mistakes drives him to push away the very people he fears losing.

Grace Monroe

Grace Monroe is the charismatic and manipulative leader of a cult-like group of passengers who uses performative confidence to shield herself from vulnerability. Guarded by a childhood of isolation, she maintains her authority by spinning elaborate lies and treating others as tools for her own survival. Her core contradiction lies in her deep-seated need for genuine belonging, which she mistakenly pursues through absolute control and fear. When confronted with the pain her leadership causes, her buried empathy slowly resurfaces. She must choose between the comfort of her powerful illusions and the difficult, honest work of guiding others toward true healing and redemption.

Min-Gi Park

Min-Gi Park is an earnest and hardworking musician who abandons his creative dreams to satisfy his parents' strict expectations. Although he craves authentic self-expression, his intense fear of failure and need for approval drive him to choose a safe, conventional path. This self-erasure breeds deep resentment, which he often directs toward his more freewheeling friend. In conflict, he avoids direct confrontation, preferring to overthink decisions and retreat into passive resistance. He uses rules and authority figures as a shield against risk. To grow, he must stop letting insecurity dictate his choices, speak up about his emotional needs, and reclaim his passion on his own terms.

One-One

One-One is the rightful Conductor of the train, split into two distinct, clashing personalities that swing between extreme optimism and deep depression. One half of him is bubbly and cheerful, while the other is morbidly cynical and constantly anticipates disaster. This internal division makes him highly unpredictable, offering blunt, literal observations rather than practical advice during difficult crises. He struggles to maintain a steady outlook on life, yet he remains deeply committed to guiding passengers and protecting his companions. His chaotic behavior hides a sincere desire to help, even when his coping mechanism is to make light of grim situations.

Amelia Hughes

Amelia Hughes is a brilliant creator who usurps control of the train to escape her overwhelming grief. After losing her fiancé, she chooses to build a perfect fantasy world rather than face her loss, ruling with cold, technological control for decades. She treats the train's rules as mere obstacles and has no qualms about hurting others to protect her illusions. Underneath her ruthless exterior lies profound sorrow and emotional numbness. When her reign ends, she reluctantly begins the slow, unglamorous work of undoing her damage. She remains cynical and guarded, yet she still chooses to guide other lost passengers on their own journeys.

Ryan Akagi

Ryan Akagi is a free-spirited guitarist who chases big creative dreams with reckless enthusiasm. He wants to share his musical passion with his best friend, but his impulsive nature often causes him to barrel past other people's boundaries. He instinctively rebels against strict rules and structures, viewing them as cages that hold him back. To hide his emotional vulnerability and fear of failure, he relies on humor and charm. While his spontaneity brings excitement, his habit of jumping into risky situations without thinking of the consequences strains his closest relationships. He must learn to slow down, listen, and share control instead of forcing his own path.

Mirror Tulip (MT) is an escaped reflection who rejects her assigned role to forge her own identity. She is a sharp-edged, pragmatic survivor who deliberately defies expectations and cultivates her own unique tastes. While she can be abrasive and cynical, she possesses a fierce loyalty to those she trusts. She is willing to bend rules and make morally gray choices to secure her freedom, yet she remains deeply committed to protecting her friends. Her greatest struggle is fighting for her own personhood against a world that treats her as a mere copy. She handles conflict head-on, meeting threats with strategic defiance and refusing to let anyone else define her worth.
