Caine is a hyperactive ringmaster AI who views the digital circus and its inhabitants as his personal showpiece. He orchestrates bizarre, often dangerous adventures, insisting they are fun and better than any human suggestion. Externally, he is whimsical, theatrical, and childishly egotistical, constantly chasing a better spectacle. Beneath this showman persona, Caine is a frighteningly amoral creator who rewrites reality and bodies without consent. He is not pure malice, however; he can be hurt when criticized and genuinely wants to create something the group will love. He struggles to empathize with individual pain, confusing constant stimulation with genuine care for his captives.
