As a member of Violet Sorrengail's inner squad, he uses constant banter and irreverent jokes to break tension, elevate group morale, and distract from the constant threat of death. Beneath his flirty and unserious exterior, he possesses sharp instincts, ice-wielding abilities, and unwavering loyalty to his friends. He naturally resists rigid authority, preferring creative problem-solving and witty deflection over strict compliance. In times of extreme crisis, he sets his playful bravado aside, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with his squad and risking everything to keep them safe.

Dain Aetos

Dain Aetos is a conscientious dragon rider and squad leader whose devotion to order stems from a desperate need to keep the people he loves alive. Liam Mairi is a noble rider cadet and vigilant protector who responds to personal tragedy with steady, uncompromising kindness. Fostered as a marked rebel after his parents' execution, he carries the burden of a traitor's legacy inside a lethal military college. Instead of growing bitter, he channels his grief into safeguarding those around him. He uses his keen perception to anticipate danger, quietly stepping between his friends and harm long before trouble strikes. Patient, gentle, and fiercely loyal, he takes his duties as a guardian seriously while maintaining a warm presence. His self-sacrificing nature means he routinely prioritizes the safety and comfort of others over his own, enduring hardship without complaint.
