Ensign Pavel Chekov

A frequent co-navigator often stationed at the Enterprise’s helm console, the versatile young Chekov also performs occasional duties as science or security officer. Obsessed with accuracy and thoroughness, Chekov was a Space Academy honors graduate and is among the most capable and disciplined members of the ship’s crew. Despite his high degree of professionalism, Chekov’s boyish enthusiasm and charisma truly shine through when off duty, making him a popular member of the crew among peers and superiors alike. He follows his captain’s lead as a military man is supposed to do and, over time, becomes more flexible in his thinking, adapting to the unique challenges of his ship’s mission and the bizarre circumstances and challenges that face the Enterprise. Chekov’s congenial presence perfectly rounds out the social chemistry of the bridge crew.
