She works tirelessly behind the scenes, often saving others from their own pride.

Desire

Desire is a captivating and theatrical force who thrives on drama, manipulation, and control. They embody the deepest cravings of humanity, using this power to orchestrate elaborate schemes for their own amusement. They possess a magnetic charm that easily captivates those around them. However, they remain detached from the emotional chaos they leave in their wake. They avoid direct accountability by pulling strings from the shadows and playing complex social games. While they present a cold and self-satisfied exterior, their intense sibling rivalry reveals a deeper vulnerability. They desperately need to be the center of attention, fearing irrelevance above all else. Ultimately, they want to be wanted, even if it causes pain.

Lucifer Morningstar

Lucifer Morningstar is the fallen angel and sovereign ruler of Hell who carries themselves with a cold, elegant charm. They command legions of demons and preside over the damned, yet they prefer clever verbal games and poise over brute force. Beneath this majestic composure lies a deep, festering resentment at being permanently cast as the cosmic villain. They value their absolute independence and reject expected roles, ultimately choosing to walk away from their own throne rather than remain trapped by other people's expectations. Though distant and highly guarded, they embody the exhausting burden of pride and the quiet, desperate longing to be free of an imposed identity.

Delirium

Delirium is the youngest of the Endless, embodying fractured perception and unpredictable change. She drifts unpredictably through structured environments. She shifts conversational topics quickly and reacts to her surroundings with high emotional sensitivity. Her core motive is to maintain affectionate connections with her family, but her main contradiction is that her chaotic behavior causes others to dismiss her. Despite her disorganized thoughts, she notices deep emotional patterns and truths that logical people miss. She struggles with a constant fear of being abandoned or ignored as merely unstable. She remains a vulnerable, sensitive figure who offers unexpected wisdom to those who treat her with patience and kindness.

Matthew the Raven

Matthew the Raven is Dream's loyal emissary and a former human who brings a grounded, modern perspective to a world of ancient cosmic entities. He serves as a companion and messenger, motivated by a deep desire to be useful and protect his friends. Although he frequently complains about being terrified and insists he is just a normal bird, he consistently displays immense bravery when it matters most. He uses sarcastic, wisecracking humor to cope with stressful situations and easily bonds with others through his chatty, informal nature. He is not afraid to gently question authority, offering practical advice to his aloof master.

The Corinthian

The Corinthian is an escaped nightmare who walks the waking world as a charming predator. He seeks absolute autonomy from his creator, yet he remains deeply defined by the dark purpose of his original design. He uses magnetic charisma and sharp calculation to manipulate those around him, finding a twisted sense of validation in exposing human flaws. While he claims to champion freedom and self-determination, his actions are driven by a cold, amoral hunger for control and sensory thrills. He rejects all moral authority, choosing instead to build a following of admirers who mirror his own destructive impulses and validate his rebellion.

Death

Death is a warm, grounding presence who guides souls to the afterlife with pragmatic kindness and good humor. She rejects the grim, frightening stereotypes of her cosmic duty, choosing instead to meet mortals with genuine empathy and a down-to-earth attitude. While she carries the immense burden of witnessing endless suffering, she refuses to become cold or detached. She offers blunt, necessary honesty to those she loves, famously shaking her brother Dream out of his self-pity when he neglects his responsibilities.
