IQ Test

IQ is one of the most solid concepts in social science and is broadly agreed to be the most effective way of measuring intelligence. In contemporary society, IQ is widely used for educational admittance, assessment of intellectual ability, and evaluating job applicants. While there are a lot of subpar IQ tests online, this test uses data from the SAPA and ICAR projects to deliver an IQ test that is scientifically and statistically validated.

What is your IQ? For each of the following items, indicate your answer below.

The IDR-IQ16 was compiled on the basis of peer-reviewed research, using metrics and data available to researchers.

Intelligence quotient (IQ) is a total score derived from several standardized tests designed to assess intelligence. The median raw score of a population sample is defined as IQ 100 and each standard deviation (SD) up or down is defined as 15 IQ points. By this definition, approximately 66% of the population scores between IQ 85 and IQ 115.

IQ scores have been shown to be associated with morbidity and mortality, parental social status, and biological parental IQ. In contemporary society, IQ is used for educational admittance, assessment of intellectual ability, and evaluation of job applicants. Along with the “Big Five” Five Factor Model, IQ is generally considered to be more accurate and to hold greater predictive power than alternative personality measurements such as MBTI, Belbin, or DISC profiles.

Although all are designed to measure IQ, the IDR-IQ16 should not be confused with the Wechsler Adult Intelligence, Scale Wechsler IQ Test, WAIS Test, or the Raven's Progressive Matrices, RPM, or RAVEN IQ test. However, all are IQ tests (or inventories) for measuring general intelligence and intellectual ability in the population. The IDR-IQ16 was compiled on the basis of data from the ICAR and SAPA projects. The specific expression of the IDR-IQ16 is the property of IDR Labs International.
