Explanation of Scales:
General Racism measures belief in racial stereotypes and racial group identities, as well as the belief that non-Whites are generally less advanced than whites.
Socio-Historical Racism denotes social attitudes that portray non-Whites as being inferior to Whites and that neglect historical racism in the West.
Perpetual Foreigner Racism measures attitudes that signal to non-Whites that they are incapable of assimilating fully and that they will never be truly Western.
Total Racism measures the test taker’s total racism as defined by researchers Liang, Li, and Kim. Higher scores indicate a greater degree of racism according to their view.
